POSITION FOR FRONT DESK ADMINISTRATOR  

 

The International Academic Center is currently hiring for the position of Front Desk Administrator. The working hours are Tuesday through Friday, 11.00 am to 7.00 pm, and 10.00 am to 3.00 pm on Saturdays. This is a temporary position for six (6) months that can be extended based on mutual agreement. The netto salary for this position is 35,000 RSD per month.  

 

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The front office and desk position is of primary importance as it provides the first impression of the International Academic Center.  Multi-tasking between visitors, telephones, emails, and other points of contact while maintaining organized public space is critical to the position;  Data capture is a priority for this position;  Performance of all other duties and responsibilities will be required as requested by the Executive Director and department heads.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

A. Education:

High School Diploma, some college/university preferred. U.S. experience is a plus, particularly anytime spent at a U.S. college or university.

 

B. Prior Work Experience:

None required.  This is absolutely a “starter position” that is especially lucrative for providing outstanding work experience.  

 

C. Entry Level Training:

On the job training.

 

D. Knowledge:

Must have solid knowledge of spoken and written English. Must have the ability to follow policy and procedure with fine attention to detail.

 

E. Skills and Abilities:

Must possess exceptional organizational and social skills.

 

POSITION ELEMENTS

 

I. Supervision Received:

 

The incumbent works under the supervision of the Undergraduate Advising Department Head.

 

II. Available Guidelines:

 

Standard written policies and procedures, and written and oral instructions from the Undergraduate Advising Department Head

 

III. Exercise of Judgment:

 

Expected to exercise excellent judgment in working with the public, partners, and colleagues.

 

IV. Authority to Make Commitments:

 

None .

 

V. Nature, Level, and Purpose of Contacts:

 

Extensive contact with the public and partners that requires sound judgment and tact. .

 

VI. Supervision Exercised:

Responsible for the recruitment and management of student volunteers.  

 

VII. Time Required to Perform Full Range of Duties after entry into the Position:

 

Two weeks.
