administrator Posted March 28, 2021 Report Share Posted March 28, 2021 Brief Summary of Job Duties Duties of this position includes: teaching courses in Actuarial Science, probability and statistics and other standard undergraduate and graduate mathematics courses; mentoring and advising students in departmental programs. Requested Minimum Qualifications The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in the Mathematical Sciences, or Actuarial Science, from an accredited university, preferably in industrial and/or Computational Mathematics, Statistical Learning, Machine Learning, Big Data and Analytics, and Mathematical Modeling. The candidate must also have a strong commitment to student mentoring, student-centered teaching, and an established record of multidisciplinary and extramurally-funded research experience, experience in college teaching and evidence of ongoing scholarly activity in the mentioned fields. The years of experience requirement is dependent on the rank of the Professor.
