postovani,
prilikom registracije za toefl pre dva meseca password mi je istekao a ne mogu se setiti security question. Kako da resim problem, odn kako mogu da preko skype nazovem Holandiju ili Ameriku, ne znam sta je bolje?da li se taj poziv placa i koji je broj?

Preporučuje se da od?tampate papir koji vam je ujedno i potvrda da ste se registrovali. Neće vam uvek administratori tra?iti taj papir na dan ispita, ali se nikad ne zna... Bolje je imati ga pri ruci.
Poslednji rok za unos primalaca rezultata koji su uključeni u cenu ispita je 22:00 po lokalnom vremenu, dan pre ispita.

Prilikom registracije za GRE, dobila sam na kraju ovo:
If you need to:
* Make corrections to your personal or contact information or undergraduate institution, or if you need to add, delete
or change score recipients, use the correction stub attached to the admission ticket.
Your corrected stub must be received at ETS by the Friday before your test date. After that, you cannot make changes
to your score recipients.
Kada mogu i kako da dodam score recipients kada aplikaciju online ne mozemo ponovo otvarati?

Mozda ce neko od administratora to moci bolje da ti objasni, ali koliko ja znam knjige za pripremu u principu nisu odobrene od strane ETS. I na najpoznatijim udzbenicima velikih izdavaca ti redovno pise da ETS to nije odobrio, itd. Dakle, to je disclaimer koji ljudi moraju da stave, ali koji u principu ne znaci nista.

Da, mislila sam na Kaplanov udzbenik-Verbal Workout. Tu ima nekoliko hiljada reci.
Da li mi mozes dati neki link za verbalni deo Gre, htela bih da uradim neke vezbe ili testove jer mi je verbalni deo najvazniji.

Dear Viket,
First of all, the GRE is a tough exam. Outstanding American students also work very hard to prepare. Also two of our most successful graduate students from the English Department in Belgrade took our GRE preparation courses. I think that one has posted to the alumni forum and even mentions this. So even if you are unable to take a preparation course, it is still important for you to work very hard on your preparation. The competition for funding is very intense - especially for English assistantships.
I am very sorry that you have such a difficult schedule. This will mean a rather high pressure application process for you. You need to make certain that you organize a very realistic time line. Also I hope that you have found more than one department that you feel is a good match for you.

Thank you very much for everything, without your help it would be very difficult for me. I want to build up my vocabulary and I am studying every day at least three hours. I hope that it will be ok for me because I am planning to take TOEFL and GRE next year.

Any vocabulary building would help, but once again, you should consider going through a GRE prep course here at IAC. You have three hours of instruction per week, plus a weekly practice test. It also includes seminars for the math section. Thus, you will be guided through every aspect of the verbal section, take 12 practice tests to check your progress, and get help with your math skills.

I graduated from the Faculty of Philology, English Department so that's why I think that I just need guidance. I am planning to apply for graduate studies in the USA English Department so that's why the Verbal section is crucial. I am also employed and cannot fit in with the schedule and my financial situation at the present time is bleak. I hope that you do not mind being asked these questions.

Since I was informed that gre paper based is not available in Belgrade in Feb, I am going to have more time to prepare. The vocabulary part is very important for me. I started learning the words from this website www.gredic.wordlist that I found on the forum. There are 5000 words there. Is that absolutely ok?

Thank you very much. What happens if the admissions office receive two scores, one that is higher and lower, can that undermine my status? Do they acept the more recent one?

Dear Elz,
I decided to retest GRE. If you remember, I did send you the results of my GRE test taken and you advised me to retest. I decided to try my luck once again.
I decided to retest in February in 2008, paper-based. I hope that it will be available then, I did see the location of Belgrade on the website. I think I have enough time to prepare. What happens if the results reach the universities well before the deadine, for example in my situation, the deadline is Dec 2008, and I request them to be sent in February. Will they be kept by then? I know it is too early but I need to take TOEFL as well.
I also heard that there is some new version of GRE? I hope that the paper based format is still the same, with the same question types. Do you by any chance know when the new version will be available in Belgrade?
