Hello! My name is Zoran (no specific nickname . Now I am in San Francisco, CA, preparing for my Graduate Studies at San Francisco State University, Computer Sciences Department. In Serbia, I graduated at The Mathematical Faculty in Belgrade, Computer Sciences and Informatics. I say ?preparing?, because Spring semester begins in January. But, there is a lot to do even before the classes begin. At the IAC I had prepared for my GRE test, and that also was very helpful for TOEFL test I had. Beside that, people at the IAC, especially Elizabeth, gave me more than few useful advices regarding the process of applying. For all of the questions you might have, they are the right address to ask. Just a word of advice: I know procedures related to application can be complicated and sometimes tiresome, but in order to succeed you must be persistent and show a lot of patience. A potential reward awaits you at the end, but a road can be long. And here lays the irony: just as you think you have reached the end of the road, when you are admitted for undergraduate or graduate studies, that is when everything is just about to begin. Be that for better or for worse. But, then again, that is what you are all hoping for, right? I can?t tell you to many details about the SFSU, for I am still exploring myself. Most of the things I know, I found out at the university web pages, or deduced on my own from what I have read. So far, everything looks fine, and ? don?t know, but will tell you if that changes? I will be visiting these pages as often as I can, and if any of you has questions for me, I will be more than willing to give you answer to the best of my abilities. That?s all for now. Sada sam u San Francisku, Kalifornija, pripremam se za postdiplomske studije na Drzavnom Univerzitetu San Franciska, na katedri Racunarskih Nauka. U Srbiji, diplomirao sam na Matematickom fakultetu u Beogradu, na odseku za Racunarstvo I informatiku. Kazem da se ?pripremam?, jer Prolecni semestar pocinje u Januaru. Ali, puno toga treba uraditi cak i pre nego sto pocnu casovi. U Medjunarodnom akademskom centru pripremao sam se za GRE test, a to je koristilo i za TOEFL test koji sam polagao. Pored toga, ljudi koji radu u Centru, posebno Elizabeta, pruzili su mi vise korisnih saveta vezanih za process prijavljivanja. Za sva pitanja koja imate, oni su prava adresa za obratiti se. Jedan savet samo: znam da cela ta procedura oko aplikacije ume biti slozena i ponekad zamorna, ali ako zelite da uspete, morate biti uporni i imati puno strpljenja. Moguca nagrada ceka na kraju tog puta, ali put ume biti dug. I evo u cemu vidim ironiju: onda kada pomislite da ste stigli na kraj puta, kada vas prime na osnovne/postdiplomske studije, tek tada sve pocinje. Pa sad svidjalo se to vama ili ne. Ali, opet, to je ono cemu ste se i nadali, zar ne? Ne mogu vam reci nesto mnogo o SFSUu, jer i sam jos uvek istrazujem. Najveci deo onoga sto sam saznao, pronasao sam na internet stranicama univerziteta, ili zakljucio sam iz vidjenog/procitanog. Za sada sve izgleda dobro, i ? ne znam, ali reci cu vam ako se nesto promeni.
