administrator Posted May 16, 2010 Report Share Posted May 16, 2010 Young designers, e-content creators, writers and bloggers (up to 30 years old) from around the world are invited to submit digital content to the World Summit Youth Award (WSYA) competition. Deadline to apply: June 20. The WSYA will select and promote the best works that demonstrate young people?s potential to create outstanding, creative digital content. Nominations include: Fight Poverty, Hunger and Disease; Education for All; Power 2 Women; Create Your Culture; Go Green; and Pursue Truth! WSYA serves as a platform for people from all UN member states to work together in efforts to reduce poverty and hunger, and to tackle ill-health, gender inequality, lack of education, lack of access to clean water and environmental degradation. An international jury of 12 experts will evaluate the projects in two rounds of online judging, and three winners in each category will be selected.
