administrator Posted June 16, 2010 Report Share Posted June 16, 2010 Photographers from around the world are invited to submit photographs depicting images that promote the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis. Deadline: July 30. Photographs should raise awareness of TB treatment, prevention, and illustrate community activities that advocate for tuberculosis management. Applicants must submit 10 to 15 photographs that give a human face to the disease, as well as encourage action against it. Participants will be judged by an international jury of photographers and representatives from the United Nations. The winner will receive a US$5,000 cash prize, as well as a US$5,000 grant to produce a photography report about tuberculosis. Photographs that have been digitally altered or enhanced will not be accepted. The competition is being sponsored by the Lilly Multi Drug Resistance (MDR)-TB Partnership.
