Dear MilanBG, First of all, the transfer issue and financial aid combination. When it comes to financial aid, it is not always easy to get financial aid as a transfer student, but your chances are the best when you have excellent grades. Therefore, if you have really great grades now, you can start looking at early transfer options. In the event that your grades are not so great, you may want to sit for some more exams and make really good grades on those exams. Now one other issue concerns the compatibility of your program of study. Each school decides how your courses will match up with their program. The good news on this is that most economic students have a great deal of luck with this. You should visit our center and begin to research various programs and try to find a program that fits quite well with your course of study thus far. I hope this helps. New Information on Spring Test Preparation Program iBT TOEFL iBT TOEFL seminars will begin February 28. The program lasts 8 weeks and includes 24 instructional hours and 3 hours per week of practice tests. In addition, course participants will have access to computerized practice tests in our computer lab. Pre-registration begins February 14 and continues through February 21. Students will need to take a placement TOEFL assessment and arrange to pick up their pre-seminar materials by 21 February. SAT The SAT seminar begins 7 March. The program lasts 12 weeks and intended for students that are interested in providing university admissions officers with SAT scores for scholarship assessment purposes within the American university admission deadlines for students planning to enroll in August 2008. The program includes 36 instructional hours and 3 hours each of practice tests. Students will also have access to computerized practice in our computer lab. Pre-registration begins February 21 and continues through February 21. Students will need to take a skills assessment test and arrange to pick up their pre-seminar materials by 28 February. GRE The GRE seminar begins 30 January. The program lasts 12 weeks and includes 36 instructional hours and 3 hours per week of GRE practice exams. There are several ways to deal with this issue. First of all, when you login to your iBT profile, click on "View Orders" link. You will have to click one more time at the link with the number showing your test order. Once you click there, the menu for editing will open. There will be "Score recipients" area and "edit" button near it. Click on it and follow the instructions. Your four institutions can be either typed in, you can enter the code, or search for them using name and US state. It's easy to deal with it. The other possibility is to find codes on the TOEFL web site - they are usually in the Acrobat Reader file somewhere on the main web site www.toefl.org . The third possibility is to come to our office and ask for the printed list of codes. Of course, someone can help you out doing the first choice, online search for those codes.

To da se ne moze dva puta aplicirati se odnosi na trenutnu lutriju. Oni koji su pokusavali ranije ne bi trebalo da budu zabrinuti. Veliki problem bi moglo da bude, recimo, ako bi sada neko pokusao regularno da aplicira, a istovremeno neka od tih "agencija" ponovo posalje isti profil iz ko zna kojih razloga. What about Early Decision? We are not certain that Early Decision choices are the best option for International Students. In fact, some schools do not accept Early Decision applications from International Students because the nature of Early Decision is not always well understood. First of all, in most cases, Early Decision applicants need to begin preparation for TOEFL and SAT during their third year of high school. Students will need to do well on these exams in order to accepted through Early Decision. It is a very competitive process. Most colleges allow you to apply to other schools at the same time you are applying to them as an Early Decision student, you can apply to only one school for Early Decision, so that school must be the one you really want to attend. Under most Early Decision plans, applications are submitted during the fall of the senior year of high school. Early Decision is a moral and ethical agreement: a student has agreed that if accepted by that school, the student will attend that school. This is a matter of academic honor. This is not some game that students can play to get the best deal. It is a very serious and shameful infraction of the rules to apply Early Decision and not comply with the terms. Often International Students do not understand the nature of this obligation. This is one reason why more and more schools are not offering Early Decision opportunities to International Students. Financial packages are another issue in the Early Decision process. Although most schools will provide students with estimated financial aid packages, you must realize that if the estimate does not cover you educational costs, your family needs to feel confident that it can work out financing for the college you apply to under an Early Decision plan. An Early Decision plan is probably not the best option for you if your family needs to compare the financial aid packages offered from several different colleges in order for you to decide which college to attend. Also unless you can provide TOEFL and SAT scores, most schools are not going to be able to offer you an estimated financial aid package. Now on to the plus side of Early Decision Well most schools get back to you with this information very quickly. Thus, once accepted, your worries are over. Schools have a tendency to view Early Decision candidates as enthusiastic and committed to them. After all, Early Decision makes it clear to admissions officers that their school is your school of choice. Early Decision is just not for everybody. For example, we have one student that has been preparing for more than two years. His test scores are at the absolute top in applicant pool. He is very committed to one school. He is definitely a good candidate for Early Decision. We are working with the school of his choice to get an estimated financial aid package. IAC has spoken with the International Student Admissions Officer several times. However, should this student violate his Early Decision agreement, that will reflect poorly on the student, on IAC, and on other potential candidates from the countries of Serbia and Montenegro. If you are a student who has made this kind of commitment to your educational goals, then you probably are a good candidate for Early Decision. On the other hand, in the last academic year, a larger number of students applied through regular decision and were accepted. Of course, it goes without saying that in keeping with local tradition, we had a few that waited until the last minute also and they managed to scoot into an American university as well! I guess that would be called Last Minute Decision and please avoid that this year.

Toefl priprema traje po dva meseca i sledeci termin za pocetak je septembar. Nemamo bas mesta da sada navedemo sve koledze koji daju stipendiju fudbalerima. Mnogo institucija neguje fudbal kao sport (nadam se da govorimo o evropskom fudbalu = soccer), a timovi su podeljeni u nekoliko divizija. Postoji vise faktora od kojih ce zavisiti eventualna puna stipendija, ali morate da racunate da ce biti potrebno da se kontaktira dosta trenera. Svratite do nas, zakazite razgovor sa savetnicima i videcemo da vam pokazemo kako da kontaktirate institucije. Aplikacija ne bi trebalo da bude bauk, naravno da mozemo da pomognemo! Kao sto je vec navedeno gore, zakazani razgovor moze da pomogne, ali nisam siguran da ce ove nedelje biti dovoljno mesta zbog napakovanih obaveza. Naci cemo neki termin da se vec u avgustu krene u proceduru. Dodatak ovoj celoj prici je SAT ispit. Da li ste i to planirali?
