North American Association for Environmental Education, Conference Scholarship

The North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) is pleased to announce the availability of several scholarship opportunities for the 2010 conference. The conference will be held on September 28 ? October 2, 2010, at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center in Buffalo, New York.

Please consider applying for one of the following scholarships:

? Affordability Scholarship ? A limited number of Affordability Scholarships will be awarded to provide discounted full conference registration to NAAEE members who have lower incomes and little or no financial support from their employer. (Students and retirees are not eligible.)

Deadline: June 11, 2010

? Columbia Sportswear Teacher Scholarship ? This new scholarship recognizes a teacher's achievement in environmental education in the classroom and the administrator who supported the teacher's endeavors. This scholarship is the first to recognize that a teacher's success as an environmental educator depends on administrative support.

Deadline: June 11, 2010

? Diversity Scholarship ? Diversity is a key element of NAAEE's formal Strategic Plan to enrich the field of environmental education. Diversity Scholarships are an opportunity to promote interaction and exchange within a wide variety of cultures and perspectives.

Deadline: June 11, 2010

? The William B. Stapp College Student Scholarship ? The Stapp Fund was established in 2001 in honor of NAAEE international leader Dr. Bill Stapp (1930-2001) to help students from around the world attend NAAEE's annual conference.

Deadline: June 11, 2010

? International Travel Scholarship ? This scholarship provides travel assistance for presenting conference delegates from countries other than Canada, Mexico, and the USA (preference will be offered to delegates from developing countries).

Deadline: June 11, 2010
