Serbian Representative at the UN event - "VOICES OF A NEW GENERATION"

"Voices of a New Generation" is an interactive event that will incorporate the voices of young people into the chamber of one of the world's most important decision-making bodies: the UN Security Council. On December 21st, the Security Council will discuss ideas submitted about international peace and security by people aged 21 or younger. One of the three young people selected to participate is our own Jelena Jezdimirovic from Uzice, our member applying to colleges in the US.

Jelena has responded to the following question: "What is the most vital challenge to international peace and security facing your generation? Tell the UN Security Council what issue you believe deserves more attention, and explain why it is important." Her submission is one of three chosen from all the world wide applicants to be incorporated into the agenda of the Security Council event on December 21, 10a.m. EST (4p.m. Belgrade time) which will be broadcast live via the web - http://un.org/webcast .

"Glasovi nove generacije" je naziv interaktivnog događaja koji će uključiti glasove mladih ljudi u odaje jednog od najva?nijih institucija na svetu: Saveta bezbednosti Ujedinjenih nacija. Savet bezbednosti će 21. decembra razmatrati ideje o miru u svetu i bezbednosti koje su na adresu UN poslali mladi ljudi starosti do 21 godine. Njene reči su izabrane i ona će biti jedna od tri osobe iz celog sveta čiji će video biti uključen u rad Saveta bezbednosti UN 21. decembra.
