ROGER WILLIAMS UNIVERSITY (RI) INSTITUTIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS Roger Williams University offers a number of institutional scholarships for international students ranging from $10,000 to $16,000. Scholarships are renewable for the student's full four years of study at RWU, if they continue to meet eligibility requirements. Other Qualifications include: - Exam Results - Curriculum Rigor - Leadership Roles - Extracurricular Activities - Letters Of Recommendation - English Ability International transfer students who will graduate with an A.A. or A.S. degree from a U.S. two-year institution may qualify for the Roger Williams University Transfer Scholarships. For more information, please visit: http://bit.ly/1eSMXWH WELLESLEY COLLEGE (MA) FINANCIAL AID FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS Wellesley is committed to meeting 100% of demonstrated need for all admitted international citizens who have applied for financial aid during the admission process. Financial assistance is available for a limited number of international citizens. Its purpose is to support highly qualified candidates who could not otherwise attend Wellesley. Because of the keen competition for these funds, candidates should apply for them only if family resources cannot adequately meet College expenses. In determining the amount of aid given, the College examines the financial resources of the student and her family through information provided on the financial aid forms. A well-formulated financial plan is required of all financial aid applicants. International citizens applying for financial aid must apply under the Regular Decision plan. Financial assistance is given during the academic year to international students in the form of grants or scholarships—that is, aid that does not have to be repaid. Proof of our commitment is evident through the Tuition Guarantee and Hiram College Global Scholarship Program. While tuition at many other colleges and universities usually rises between five and 10% every year, the Hiram College Tuition Guarantee locks in tuition for each student at his or her first-year rate. International applicants are eligible to compete for merit-based Global Scholarships. In the current year, Global Scholarship awards average $18,000 per year for on-campus residents. To insure full consideration, a completed application for admission should be received no later than February 15 for the fall. There is no separate scholarship application. Award recipient will receive $2,500.00 USD towards tuition that recurs for eight ( semesters, totaling $20,000.00 USD. As an enrolled student, they must maintain at least a 3.2/4.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) to maintain the award from one semester into the next. The deadline for international students to apply to CU Denver and be eligible to receive the award is March 1st. Eligible candidates will be selected on March 15th and notified by email if they have been chosen as a recipient of the Presidential Scholar Award. The international student awardee must be ‘outstanding’. This can be identified in a number of ways: 1. Applicant must be fully admitted to his/her degree program 2. Applicant must be a freshman 3. This program is for students interested in attending university in the U.S., but need some preparation in academic skills and ESL, before they arrive for the first year of university.
