NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY (MO) OFFERS FINANCIAL WAIVER TO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

 

This award will serve as a tuition waiver that represents the value of the difference in price between in-state and out-of-state tuition. The student must be accepted into Northwest's undergraduate program and must have TOEFL 65 iBT/513 PBT, 6.0 on Academic IELTS, or 43 on the Pearson Test of English.

UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-PLATTEVILLE (WI) OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAM STUDENTS

 

The scholarship ranges from $1,000 - $3,000 per year and is renewable. 

 

Deadline for the scholarship application: November 1 for spring term and June 1 for fall term.

UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI (MS) OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

HOWARD HUGHES MEDICAL INSTITUTE (MD) SELECTS 46 INTERNATIONAL PREDOCTORAL FELLOWS

 

The Howard Hughes Medical Institute is awarding nearly $5 million in research fellowships to 46 predoctoral students from 24 countries. The awards will allow the students, who have demonstrated exceptional talent and innovation in research, to complete their graduate studies.

Being an international student in a new country is not easy. To encourage more students to consider ULM, Eric Liew, who originally came to ULM from Malaysia, donated $1 million toward the building of an international student center, which will serve as a welcoming facility and temporary housing for new international students.
