LEBANON VALLEY COLLEGE (PA) OFFERS INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS REDUCED TUITION

 

Currently, Lebanon Valley College (LVC) in Annville, Pennsylvania is offering one-third off of tuition for international student applicants. THE UNIVERSITY OF ST. THOMAS (MN) OFFERING FINANCIAL AID TO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

 

The University of St. Thomas offers competitive financial awards to international undergraduate students based on academic merit. These scholarships can cover up to 40 percent of the cost of undergraduate tuition and automatically renew each academic year if the student maintains quality academic performance. Applicants are encouraged to apply before the January 15th deadline for fall 2015.

WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IN ST. LOUIS (MO) OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL SUMMER STUDY

 

A limited number of scholarships are available for students interested in International Summer Study at Washington University in St. Louis. International students now qualify for competitive $2,500 scholarships.

 

The International Summer Study program runs from July 10 to August 14. Students enroll in two three-unit courses, which are chosen from a wide-range of options. Students also participate in a number of social and cultural events designed to introduce them to American culture. Additionally, students have the option to meet deans and admissions officers should they wish to learn about graduate and professional study in the United States.

 

Interested students must go to the website to submit an application for the program as well as the scholarship. The deadline for submitting an application is April 1, 2015.

TULANE UNIVERSITY LAW SCHOOL (LA) EDUCATIONUSA SCHOLARSHIP

 

Tulane Law School, located in New Orleans, Louisiana, is uniquely positioned to prepare students with an exposure to the U.S. common law tradition and the civil law tradition. Tulane seeks to recruit qualified law students with diverse backgrounds from around the world. LLM application deadline: May 1, 2015.

 

This opportunity provides students with a minimum $20,000 tuition waiver with potential for the waiver to approach full tuition. The program has the following guidelines:

 

1. Tulane Law School offers tuition waivers to students who are being advised at an EducationUSA center and seek to pursue a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at Tulane University Law School. The tuition waiver is awarded to students who are admitted to Tulane Law and are nominated by an EducationUSA adviser or colleague.

 

2. Tulane Law will make award decisions based upon the nominations presented by EducationUSA advisers. 

 

This tuition waiver will be dispersed as follows: Half of the amount to be credited to the fall 2015 semester and half of the amount to be credited to the spring 2016 semester. This represents the full extent of scholarship funding students should expect to be offered from Tulane Law. Applicants should complete the LLM application requirements.

NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY (MO) INTERNATIONAL STUDENT COMPETES IN PROGRAMMING CONTEST

 

Northwest Missouri State University is proud to announce that Diego Gutierrez, an international student and computer science major from Mexico, competed in the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest, a highly selective computer science competition sponsored by IBM. Diego competed at the Mid-Central USA Regional competition on November 1 in Kansas City, Missouri.
