2023 OSCE Scholarship Programme at the European Innovation Academy

Open to: Young professionals, students, recent graduate residents of the Western Balkans, ages 18 – 25 years old

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) offers 30 fully-paid scholarships to young developers and start-uppers, young professionals, students and recent graduates from the Western Balkans to take part in the European Innovation Academy in Porto, Portugal.

Selected finalists will be immersed in a multicultural ecosystem with professionals and mentors from one of the world’s top institutions, and have the opportunity to exchange with business leaders from America, Europe and Asia.

The scholarships are sponsored by the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and are offered in the framework of the YDEAS project (Young Developers and Entrepreneurs to Advance Start-ups in the Western Balkans). They are promoted through the network of the OSCE Field Operations in the Western Balkans and the local branch offices of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO).

Application Process

To apply, please click HERE and indicate “OSCE Scholarship” in order to be considered. Applications must be received by the European Innovation Academy by 7 May 2023 (23:59 CET).

Applicants will be asked to submit a 3 minute video pitch of their business idea and preference will be given to socially and environmentally impactful businesses, particularly in the field of employment/training, sustainable transport, sustainable tourism, waste management, energy, sustainable agriculture and pollution reduction.
