Research lines are flexible within the activity of the Analysis, Mathematical Modelling research groups, including Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing. SISSA is one of seven centres of excellence in Italy dedicated to doctorate training. The AMMA PhD positions are fully funded for 4 years and include access to over 30 advanced lecture courses each year. Admission is by means of an entrance examination.
