administrator Posted April 21 Report Share Posted April 21 The Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM), is looking for a Research Technician position in Computational Mathematics to work under the supervision of Dr. Matteo Croci (https://croci.github.io). We are searching for a promising pre-doctoral researcher who is eager to kickstart their career in academia. This is an open-topic multidisciplinary position which can be tailored to the interests of the research technician. Possible topics are: - Multilevel Monte Carlo methods. - Uncertainty Quantification. - Reduced- and mixed-precision scientific computing - Deep learning methods for partial differential equations. The initial contract duration will be of 1 year, but our objective is to incorporate the research technician within BCAM's doctoral programme, subject to satisfactory performance.
