administrator
A two years postdoctoral position in scientific computing is proposed at Inria and University Cote d'Azur, Nice, France in collaboration with IFPEN. The research position deals with the simulation of coupled thermo-hydro- mechanical processes in faulted geological media with applications to fault reactivation in CO2 storage. The main objectives of the project are to design robust and efficient iterative coupling algorithms and nonlinear solvers for these coupled processes. Applicants should have a background in scientific computing/numerical analysis/applied mathematics, and be familiar with the discretization of PDEs and iterative solvers. An experience in computational mechanics will be an additional asset. The position is for two years and should start between September 2024 and the end of 2024. Send applications with CV, letter of motivation, and references, to roland.masson@univ-cotedazur.fr, isabelle.faille@ifpen.fr and Guillaume.enchery@ifpen.fr Details can be found at the following link: https://math.univ-cotedazur.fr/~massonr/Postdoctoral-Position-IFPEN-UniCA.pdf
