Studenti - muzičari učestvovali su na nedavno zavr?enom Ni?kom d?ez festivalu i sa članovima Centra, zainteresovanima za studiranje u SAD, razmenili su iskustva o akademskom ?ivotu u Americi. Studenti Harold Smith III i Terrance Stigall uspeli su da upi?u studije i da ostanu akademski aktivni bez obzira na te?ak ?ivot i problematičnu okolinu u kojoj su odrasli. Sa studentima su bili i dekan koled?a za dru?tvene nauke Delaware State univerziteta Bradley Skelcher i profesor tog univerziteta Dragoljub Pokrajac, rodom iz Ni?a. Representatives of the combo jazz band of the Delaware State University and their professors were our guests on Monday, August 20. Students participated at the Nishville International Jazz Festival and took some time sightseeing Belgrade. Harold Smith III and Terrance Stigall, students of the DSU, shared their experiences with our members and future graduate students in the US. Smith and Stigall managed to keep their passion for music and studies together, despite all the odds. Students were accompanied by Bradley Skelcher, dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Delaware State University and Dragoljub Pokrajac, professor at the DSU, born in Ni?.
